Color commentary for this week's newsletter

Here’s episode two of the newsletter recap podcast. If this is useful, amusing, or even uninteresting, I would honestly love to know. The whole point here is to add a bit more context to whatever gets published during the week.

Episode themes:

📚 I kicked this week off with an inaugural book report, focused on Jack Foster’s classic How to Get Ideas.

🤖 School started up in earnest here in Minnesota, which means AI use policies are getting their first real application in all sorts of academic settings.

✈️ In the middle of the week I traveled to Pennsylvania for some in-house agency consulting.

🤷‍♂️ On Friday I wrote about new research via Upwork, as well as Microsoft and LinkedIn which illustrates a chasm of AI expectations. In short, corporate leaders expect all kinds of efficiencies from AI use. Yet, AI training for employees remains lacking.
